Shipping and Delivery

Thank you for ordering from Treat Symphony! We take great care in preparing and packaging your treats so they arrive fresh and beautifully presented. Below is everything you need to know about how we ship your orders.

1. Processing Time

All orders are handmade and prepared fresh.
Please allow 1 – 3 business days for processing before your order is dispatched.

During busy seasons (Easter, Christmas, special promotions), processing times may be slightly longer. We will always do our best to keep you updated.

2. Delivery Options & Timeframes

We deliver nationwide across South Africa through trusted courier partners.

Estimated delivery timeframes:

  • Local (Cape Town & surrounding areas): 1 – 2 business days
  • Major cities (Joburg, Durban, Pretoria, etc.): 2 – 4 business days
  • Outlying or rural areas: 3 – 7 business days

Delivery timelines start once the courier collects your parcel.
Please note that delays may occur due to courier conditions, weather, load shedding, or other external factors.

3. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location.
Occasionally, we may run free delivery promotions — these will be clearly indicated on our website or social media.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link or tracking number via email or SMS.

You can use this to follow your parcel’s journey until it arrives at your door.

5. Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete.
Treat Symphony is not responsible for:

  • Delays due to incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Courier returns caused by customer unavailability
  • Additional fees for re-delivery

If you notice an error in your delivery details, please contact us immediately so we can update it before dispatch.

6. Warm Weather / Heat Advisory

Because some of our treats are sensitive to heat:

  • Parcels should be collected promptly from the courier
  • Avoid leaving your package outdoors or in hot vehicles
  • If possible, choose delivery to an address where someone is available to receive it

We take every precaution when packaging, but we cannot control heat exposure once the parcel is with the courier.

7. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your order arrived damaged or has not arrived within the expected timeframe:

  • Email us with your order number
  • Include clear photos if applicable

If the courier confirms the parcel is lost, we will offer a replacement or a refund.

8. Click & Collect

If you plan to offer collection:
Customers in Cape Town may select Click & Collect at checkout.
You will receive a confirmation message when your order is ready for pickup.
Collection times will depend on our kitchen schedule.
